The Curtis Valves CCA-1300 1/4 NPT fuel drain valve is FAA certified to TSO-C76 MPS. Its design is spring loaded in the closed position, and can be locked in the open position using a push and twist action. The valve spring is made from non-corrosive, long lasting stainless steel. Valve body and moving parts are manufactured from brass to precise standards. The seal is made of a specially compounded “cure dated” synthetic rubber to withstand a wide variety of liquids over a broad temperature range. The CCA-1300 uses a wedge seal design which helps to prevent leakage and improved seal life. The CCA-1300 seal cannot be replaced. Applicability:
This valve is typically used on various classic Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft models (including some Cessna T-50,120 and 140, Beechcraft AT-11 and C-18S (Twin Beech) and Piper J-3, J-4, PA-11, PA-12, PA-14, PA-15, PA-16, PA-17, PA-18, PA-20, PA-22, PA-23, PA-25 and PA-28 models), among other aircraft using valves with the same length & thread size.
