Curtis Valves standard designs are spring loaded closed. Valve springs are made from non-corrosive, long lasting stainless steel. Valve bodies and moving parts are manufactured to precise standards with low tolerances and are available in stainless steel, anodized aluminum, brass, and cadmium or nickel plated brass. Most seals are made of a specially compounded “cure dated” synthetic rubber to withstand a wide variety of liquids over a broad temperature range. Our valves use a wedge seal design which help to prevent leakage and improve seal life.

- A Rotax oil tank extension adapter piece Curtis CCA-2474 is also available, if required to achieve the needed clearance for installation. (This adapter is also a requirement for installation on late engine models)
Applicability:
The Curtis CCA-2450 valve fits most Rotax aircraft engines, including the popular 912 and 914 series. Ideal for many ULM / LSA and experimental (kit) aircraft.
However, this valve is not PMA approved. Please consult your aircraft manufacturer before installation on any type certified aircraft.
