The Curtis Valves CCA-36150 1/8 NPT fuel drain valve is FAA certified to TSO-C76 MPS. This is a non locking design, spring loaded in the closed position. To function/open the valve, use a push and twist action. The valve spring is made from non-corrosive, long lasting stainless steel. Valve body and moving parts are manufactured from Cadmium plated brass to precise standards. The seal is made of a specially compounded “cure dated” synthetic rubber to withstand a wide variety of liquids over a broad temperature range. The CCA-36150 uses a wedge seal design which helps to prevent leakage and improved seal life. The CCA-36150 seal cannot be replaced. Curtis does offer an alternative locking version, part # CCA-4850
