The Curtis Valves CCA-39000 1/4 NPT fuel drain valve is FAA certified to TSO-C76 MPS. Its design is spring loaded in the closed position, and can be locked in the open position using a push and twist action. The valve body and moving parts are manufactured from stainless steel to precise standards. The valve spring is made from non-corrosive, long lasting stainless steel. The seal is made of a specially compounded “cure dated” synthetic rubber to withstand a wide variety of liquids over a broad temperature range. The CCA-39000 uses a wedge seal design which helps to prevent leakage and improved seal life. The CCA-39000 seal cannot be replaced.
